AION is easy to get into if you focus on the right activities from the beginning. New players do not need to understand every system immediately. The most efficient approach is to follow the Main Story Quest, complete important side content when necessary, and manage your weekly resources carefully AION2 KINA.

Follow the Main Story Quest

When you begin AION, the Main Story Quest is marked by a yellow icon. Follow it as far as possible, because the MSQ will guide your progression and eventually take you to the maximum level of 45.

As you progress, you will discover side quests marked with green icons and other activities represented by gold icons on the map. These objectives will eventually be worth completing, but you can decide whether to clear them while following the MSQ or return to them later.

If you focus only on the MSQ, you may reach progression walls around levels 22 and 32. At these points, you must fill the Ascension Gauge. Side quests, sealed dungeons, and other map-completion activities contribute to this gauge. For players seeking the fastest possible route to level 45, completing a combination of five sealed dungeons and side quests can help push the gauge to 100 percent.

Complete Kra Cave Efficiently

Shortly after reaching level 22, you will unlock Kra Cave, your first expedition dungeon. Completing one expedition dungeon is required to continue the MSQ. Kra Cave is designed as an easy tutorial version of the conquest dungeons, and its difficulty scales with the party, making it possible to complete solo.

After clearing the dungeon, consider saving the rewards. Opening the cube at the end consumes Odal energy, so it may be more useful to preserve this resource for later dungeons AION2 KINA tools. Accidentally claiming the rewards is not a serious problem, but saving Odal energy is generally the more efficient choice.

Manage Your Equipment

While leveling, dismantle old or unnecessary equipment that is not an upgrade. This provides enhancement stones. You can enhance gear up to +5 and later dissolve it to recover the materials. Avoid spending too much time upgrading every item during the leveling process. Concentrate your resources on your weapon and guard.

Complete Horizontal Content

After reaching level 45, begin working through AION’s horizontal progression. This includes green side quests, regional feather collection, sealed dungeons, and strongholds. Side quests can be tracked by pressing J and opening the regional tab. Sealed dungeons and strongholds can be found by pressing M, opening the Exploration tab, and selecting the appropriate category.

Some completion objectives require you to visit the opposing faction’s territory. Space-time Rift quests allow you to enter the other faction’s region. Rifts appear every three hours and remain available for only one hour after entry. They close quickly and permit only a limited number of players to pass through, so check the map and enter promptly.

Daily and Weekly Activities

The most important daily activity is Duties, found under the Duties tab with the J key. You can complete five each day. Only the first reward shown is guaranteed; the remaining rewards are determined by chance. Choose duties based on the materials you need, with Soul Crystal rewards recommended. When available, prioritize rainbow crystals, followed by turquoise or yellow.

Purchase Command Scrolls from merchants in your major city and Abyss base before the weekly reset. These scrolls provide kill missions and can be stored for later use.

Conquest and Transcendence Dungeons are central progression activities and consume Odal energy. Since this energy regenerates periodically, avoid reaching the maximum cap if you want to remain efficient. The Daily Dungeon is actually a weekly activity with 14 entries, while the Ascension Trial provides three weekly entries. Nightmare is a solo boss encounter that grants two charges per day, and repeated deaths do not affect it. Shugo mini-games appear every hour and require keys to claim rewards.

For alts, level each character to 22 and leave it near the Kra Cave quest. This allows the character to accumulate Odal energy while you complete daily content on your main character.
