The Frozen Trail update is introducing a new progression system to ARC Raiders on October 8, 2026. Instead of the original Raider Deck structure, players will move through a 60-level Reward Pass by completing Feats during normal gameplay. This gives the new system a more familiar seasonal structure, while ARC Raiders BluePrints remain part of the broader progression and crafting loop players are already familiar with.

For players preparing for the update, ARC Raiders BluePrints are only one part of the bigger picture. The Reward Pass is designed around three different tracks, and understanding the difference between them matters more than simply knowing that Raider Decks are being replaced. U4N can be useful to players looking at the wider item economy, but the actual Reward Pass itself has a clear division between free gameplay progression, premium cosmetics, and older content.

The Free Track Comes First

Every player receives access to the Free Track. There is no separate purchase required to start progressing through it.

The biggest point here is that gameplay-affecting rewards remain in the free progression. New weapons, tools, and other important gameplay rewards are not locked behind the Premium Track.

The Free Track also includes five character outfits, 200 Raider Tokens, and more than 20 additional cosmetic rewards. Players can find things such as charms, Outpost furniture, emotes, weapon attachments, and Scrappy variants among the rewards.

That makes the free progression meaningful even for players who never spend Raider Tokens on Premium.

Premium Adds Customization

The Premium Track is built around cosmetic customization. It follows the same 60 levels as the Free Track but adds roughly 50 extra cosmetic rewards across the progression.

Players can unlock outfit variants, exclusive colorways, custom hairstyles, and weapon stencils. These rewards change how a character or weapon looks without creating a gameplay advantage.

Access costs 1,150 Raider Tokens under the new system. Players who complete the Premium Track can earn those 1,150 tokens back through its rewards, while the Free Track separately provides 200 Raider Tokens.

There is also a Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC option that includes access to the Reward Pass alongside additional content and Raider Tokens.

Legacy Keeps Older Rewards Available

The Legacy Pass is aimed specifically at protecting the progression of existing players.

Embark is moving the three original Raider Decks into a combined Legacy Pass. Players who had already made progress on those decks will keep that progress rather than starting over.

This matters because a progression system can become frustrating when an update makes previously earned progress irrelevant. In this case, the older rewards remain available, giving players an opportunity to finish goals from the previous system while also participating in the new seasonal progression.

The Legacy Pass is also free, so players do not need to purchase Premium simply to recover their old Raider Deck rewards.

Cred Is Leaving With Frozen Trail

Another change arriving at the same time is the retirement of Cred. Players should not treat the old currency as something that will automatically become Raider Tokens after the update.

Embark's update information states that Cred expires on October 8. Existing players therefore have a limited window to use any remaining amount before the new progression system becomes active.

This is one of the easiest preparation steps because it does not require learning the entire Reward Pass first. Simply checking the current Cred balance and using anything valuable before the deadline can prevent resources from being left behind.

How Players Can Approach the New System

The new setup gives players several straightforward choices. Someone focused on gameplay can stay with the Free Track and work through Feats naturally. A cosmetic-focused player can add the Premium Track. Someone with unfinished Raider Deck goals can spend time in the Legacy Pass.

The three paths do not force every player into the same progression strategy. That is particularly useful for players who approach raids differently, since not everyone values character customization and gameplay rewards in the same way.

Preparing for the October Update

The biggest preparation step is understanding where existing resources and progression will go. Cred has a firm retirement date, while older Raider Deck progress is being preserved through the Legacy Pass.

Once Frozen Trail arrives, the Reward Pass becomes the main progression hub, with the Free Track handling gameplay rewards and Premium adding optional cosmetics. Players interested in expanding their inventories can also research ARC Raiders Items through external marketplaces, but those services are separate from the official Reward Pass progression.
