Cricket is considered one of the most popular sports in the entire World. Especially in the Asian continent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and more) have a different level of excitement and craziness of this sport. In the subcontinent regions, the 11-member team enters the field to compete, but every single citizen (fan) plays with heart and mind. Everyone gives their personal opinion or analysis on social media. 

For instance, during any match, whenever a batsman plays a shot, other fans begin offering their opinions—suggesting that he could have left the ball, stepped out to play the shot, or voicing a multitude of other views. Similarly, during the bowling phase, it is often observed that fans—watching from the comfort of their homes—start pointing out the batsman's weaknesses to the bowlers representing their country and state. The people who have never faced a bowl or even touched the bat in their entire lives give suggestions to cricketers. 

The dream left behind, but never forgotten 

But have you ever thought why they give suggestions or opinions to cricketers on social media and other platforms? In the modern era, we can say the first reason is very clear: to earn money, but the second one is a genuine reason. Because they love cricket very much. When you think about the second reason deeply, then you will know that they just don't love this sport; this is their life. 

There was a time when they, too, passionately aspired to become cricketers; however, family responsibilities snatched this dream away from them. Yet, despite this, they could never completely distance themselves from the sport. Today, having gradually attained the financial means to fulfil that dream, they now envision it being realised through the next generation. It is not that they no longer wish to become a cricketer himself, but rather that they seek to contribute to grooming the new generation of players capable of representing the nation for years to come. To achieve this, however, they require access to academies and amateur cricket leagues capable of transforming raw talent into professional cricketers, particularly at the grassroots level.

Now, they have seen another dream to build their next generation to a cricketer. And now, they are financially able to. But to achieve this, they need academies or Cricket leagues for amateurs, which shape raw talents into professional cricketers, especially at the grassroots level (small villages and cities). 

What is Champions 11 Cricket League?

To complete this dream of countless cricketers, Introducing Champions 11 Cricket League (C11CL), in 2025, India's first-ever grassroots cricket league, which aims to build raw talents into professional cricketers, and help them to achieve their goal of becoming cricketers. In this league, any male or female age 14+) who has a goal, aim, or dream of becoming a cricketer can start their cricket journey. This is not an ordinary league or academy. 

In this league, players will have to clear 5 stages to become a professional. The first stage is Cricket trials, where they give trials. They get a chance to showcase their cricket talent and skills in 3 overs of batting and bowling. If they perform well and clear the trials, they will advance to the second stage of State-level T20 matches, where they literally get a T20 match atmosphere and exposure. 

The third stage is the national camp. This is the stage that a beginner is always looking for. In this stage, the players will be trained & reshape themselves under professional coaches and experts. In fact, they will become a expert in a particular department (batter, bowler (pacer, spinner), wicketkeeper, all–rounder). In the batting department, a player learns the timings, techniques, hitting, accuracy, and running between the wickets. While in bowling, they will learn about speed, variations, field settings, and more. They will learn the importance of practise and hard work in a cricketer's life. They also learn about their diets to maintain fitness. They do practise, hard work, drills and more to shape them into a cricketer. 

Following this, the 4th stage, C11CL Auction, will be conducted, where franchises will bid for cricketers to make their squad for the last stage, the National Cricket League. During the auction, to analyse a player's performance in the previous 3 levels, the franchise will bid for them between 5,000 INR and 5 Lakh INR. In the auction, franchises select the players around the top performers of the previous stages. 

After this, the players will advance to the last and final stage, the National Cricket League, where they compete in a tournament. The tournament will be conducted in a couple of international cricket stadiums across the nation, where Several State and national-level selectors will be there to analyse individuals' performance, and provide an opportunity to make their debut in the state and National team as well.
