Domestic battery and domestic violence:- In domestic battery-domestic violence cases, they normally won’t, even if the victim requests that they do so. While this flies in the face of common sense, this is the route that most State’s Attorney’s Offices choose to take regarding these cases.

Child support:- For parents who have more than 146 overnights during the year, the new law sets forth a formula for calculating child support that takes into account the percentage of days in the year that the person paying support has the child or children. The change in child support laws is not considered a change in circumstance.  

Removal issues:- Courts typically look at several factors to decide if the removal should be allowed, but the fundamental inquiry is whether the child will be better off in the new state. If a party has removed the child from the State without the permission of the Court, prompt action must be taken to have that party court-ordered back to the State with the child.
