How do Braces work?
Braces operate by applying continuous pressure to teeth, encouraging them to move into the correct position. This pressure is exerted by the archwire, a thin metal wire threaded through brackets bonded to the teeth. Elastic bands or ties secure the archwire in place. The duration of teeth movement with braces varies, taking several months to several years based on the severity of misalignment. With proper care, braces can effectively straighten teeth and enhance your smile.

Figs Dental is dedicated to providing the best care without breaking the bank. The student braces rate is applicable to all full-time students at local public and private institutions. To qualify, you must be a local or foreign student below 25 years old with a valid student pass.

A student’s package is also available for self-ligating braces; please contact us for more details.

Student Metal Braces Package: $4200 Nett (No GST or hidden fees)

The package includes:

    Initial consultation and treatment planning with the dentist
    Pre and Post-treatment X-rays and Study Models
    Orthodontic treatment, from the placement of fixed braces to their removal, including all consultations in between.
    1 set of Clear Retainers

The prices mentioned above do not cover additional services such as scaling and polishing, extractions, functional appliances and/or fillings if required.

Instalment Plans

Figs Dental offers in-house instalment options for those who prefer a spread-out payment method.

 
Flexible Payment Scheme

    Braces Consultation: $200
    Includes study models, two x-rays (frontal and side view), and initial
    consultation and treatment planning with the dentist.
    Start of Braces Treatment: $1000-$1500
    Includes placement of separators, molar bands, brackets, wires, and modules.
    Subsequent Visits: $150-$200 per visit until the package is paid for.

Subsidies

Please note that braces treatments are not eligible for dental subsidies. However, you can consider our flexible instalment payment plan.
MediSave

While MediSave covers certain dental treatments, cosmetic procedures like braces are not included.
