Arc Raiders Free Pass Details from U4GM
The Arc Raiders reward pass system changes how you earn rewards, not just what you can collect. Frozen Trail is scheduled for October 8, 2026, so as of October 6 it remains an upcoming change. If you're comparing ARC Raiders Items with pass rewards, separate equipment value from appearance upgrades before spending anything.
What Happens to Cred Before October 8?
Unspent Cred expires with Frozen Trail. Spend it with Shani or on remaining Raider Deck rewards before October 8, 2026; claimed rewards stay yours.
That's the decision I'd handle first. Review what you still want rather than spending blindly because a deadline is approaching. Preserving an owned reward and preserving an unused balance are different things, and only the former carries through this transition.
How Does the Arc Raiders Reward Pass Work?
Feats unlock rewards across the 60-level Frozen Trail Pass, which has Free and Premium tracks. A separate free Legacy Pass covers earlier rewards.
Think of Free and Premium as two reward selections within the new pass, not names for old and new content. Legacy handles the earlier collection. That distinction matters if you're returning mainly to finish outfits you missed rather than collect everything arriving with Frozen Trail.
The redesign addresses players completing fresh decks immediately with saved Cred. My concern is what replaces that instant completion: objectives should make a raid more interesting, not turn every session into work you wouldn't otherwise choose.
What Can You Earn Without Premium?
The Free track includes new base outfits, cosmetics, weapons, gadgets, items, and up to 200 Raider Tokens.
For equipment-focused players, that's the starting point. Don't judge the free offering by how many appearance variations sit elsewhere. Judge it by which unlocks you'd actually use and how far into the pass you must progress to reach them.
A base outfit also isn't every version of that outfit. Before deciding the paid track contains your preferred look, inspect the exact variation. A colorway you'll wear regularly has more personal value than several extras that never leave the customization screen.
Is the Premium Reward Pass Worth 1,150 Raider Tokens?
Premium costs 1,150 Raider Tokens and adds outfit variations, legendary weapon stencils, hairstyles, and up to 1,150 tokens. It doesn't include gameplay-benefiting equipment.
I'd use a simple test: would you still want those cosmetics without the token return? If not, you're buying an obligation to finish rather than an appearance you genuinely like. There's nothing wrong with collecting, but completion pressure shouldn't make the purchasing decision for you.
Earning back the entry cost requires completion; it isn't a cash refund. Treat unearned tokens as a possible benefit, not currency already sitting in your account. Don't assume future passes will follow the same pricing either.
Do Existing Raider Deck Rewards Carry Over?
The free Legacy Pass preserves earned cosmetics and tokens while offering earlier rewards you missed.
That makes Legacy a collection option rather than a reason to purchase Premium. I'd welcome access to missed appearances, provided previously earned ownership remains clear. Returning players shouldn't confuse an unfinished old collection with a paid requirement attached to the new update.
What Should You Check After Frozen Trail Releases?
Look at objective requirements, reward placement, and purchase conditions in the game. My test would be whether Feats fit the raids you enjoy and whether useful milestones arrive steadily. A longer progress bar alone doesn't make progression better.
Review Cred now, then assess the live reward schedule before choosing Premium. If you also intend to buy ARC Raiders Armors separately, keep that decision outside your pass budget. The next step is to identify rewards you'll use, then see whether earning them fits your normal Arc Raiders sessions.
